I ran out of gas for the torch one day and needed to get a bearing off of a shaft on a haybine. I hooked it to my pickup truck and hauled to a friend's shop. He looked at it, went to get a drill and a chisel and a hammer and a puller and who knows what else. I grabbed the torch and by the time he got back with half his tools the bearing was lying on the ground in two pieces. The shaft was just barely too warm to touch...
Oh, and I wear hearing protection when I'm using the torch too - that way I can't hear myself screaming when the hot slag drops in my shoe...
