Rotary Cutter Rotary Cutter Shopping (again)

I have stock and I really need to improve my grass. My goal is to get nearly year round grazing, and limit my hay use. When averthing is going right, we won't have that much cutting

Right now I am thinking of a Bush Hog SQ84T.

Width of back design/opening?

Thanks for the "go in the other direction" tip, but I have tried it both ways with the same results. I think in particular the King Kutter rear end is shaped such that it funnels the cut material and the discharge is a narrow opening ( KingKutter ) versus let's say the John Deere Cutter, which is rounded in the back with no distinct output opening. (though both manufacturers call these "rotary cutters").

Just something to think about....had I done this thinking before I bought the King Kutter, I wouldn't have bought it for uncollected brush and field mowing.

I have a Bush Hog SQ 600 which I really like. It's a light/ medium duty with a slip clutch. I've been clearing my 12 acres with it on the back of my old Massey 135, and it routinely handles brush over 1.5 inches thick. I highly recommend it for almost anything other than heavy commercial abusive work, and I only paid about 850 for it.
