I have a John Deere RC2060 Frontier rotary cutter. My question How do you adjust the tail wheel. The rotary cutter has a 2" rake and sets about 3 " off the ground in the front part of the cutter. Now were do you set the tail wheel. :ashamed:
Right now it about 1" off the ground.

From a google image search, it looks like most brush hogs.

Remove the bolt that the arrow points to, drop the wheel arm down until the back is slightly higher than the front and put the bolt in the hole for that position.

WITH THE MACHINE SHUT OFF - I would measure the blade height at the front and rear - with teh blades front to back.. The rear shoud be about 1" higher than the front..

My cutter was set up for ~3" in the front and 4 in the rear.. I just adjusted it so its +5 in the rear..
