Rotary Tiller for MT 125

There are a few rotary tillers for our MT 125. I found a heavy duty Beststco for about 1300 with 15% off. I'm just wondering if this unit is too heavy weighs in around 705lbs. The specs on that tractor say the three point can lift 728 pounds at 24" out. The tractor itself weighs 1444 pounds. I'd say the tractor will handle that tiller but you're approaching its limits.

Have a look at this tiller, i think this tiller would fit your tractor better at 400 lb and list $1272 - the discount for FH-TL125 , i would think the standard duty tiller would do the job for a gardener.

Interesting, I'm just down the road from BetstCo. I'm in the mood for a tiller too. From the freeway they don't look big enough to be known as far away as NC. I wonder what kind of deal I can get by backing up my pick up with the gate down to their office door?

I finally bought a Betstco TM130 tiller. It's a 51 inch wide blade. I tilled the garden a couple of days ago. I was quite impressed. I have amended red clay and at this time of the year here in Western Oregon it's pretty mucky. It's not a good time to do dirt work. I was pretty surprised it did not faze my LS MT125. I needed to clean things out and enlarge the garden and it handled old dirt and new easily. I'm wondering what properly dried dirt would be like.

It's not normally Quick Hitch compatible. I did not think I wanted one but I decided to get one after the fact. With that big ass hook on the back it makes it real convenient to hook a chain to and yard small logs and rip out old grape vines. With proper application of a kinetic mass converter and re-calibrating the tiller's mounts spacial orientation by 3/8s inch inboard it fits perfectly on my new Titan implements Quick Hitch.

Unfortunately I had an oil leak issue right out of the box. Being just down the street I took it back to them and they gladly fixed it. I put down some OSB board down to protect the pick up bed. I could not get the tiller all the way in with the tractor and when I slid the tiller in all the way in with the tractor a blade dug in the wood and snapped the blade off. It really dug in and because I did not see it I just pushed harder. I can see it snapping be cause the stress is perpendicular to the blade rotation. They replaced that with out question.
