I had a First Choice RT1066 medium duty chain driven rototiller. At that time I had a L3010 tractor. This was a perfect match for the tractor I owned and boy do I miss that rototiller. They - Sicma- discontinued the mid weight or I would buy another one today.

Right now I have an Agric direct drive 6 tine forward rototiller I bought from Mark at CCM. The more I use it the better it is. Spec wise probably the best you can get for the $. The problem is that it does not really match up well with my B-7800.

I plan to purchase from CCM and Mark again, but this time a gear driven MR-160, 58" commercial duty 6 tine with slip clutch.

Pretty certain to go this way, unless First Choice brings back the RT1066 again

Just bought a Howse last friday after looking at TSC and some others (New Holland, etc.) I gave it a real workout this weekend. It performed GREAT. As far as CR and FR, I left it at FR and I have no complaints. I did make multiple passes and it sure fluffed up the soil. I'm glad I made that purchase.

I just recieved my new CC Yanmar sc2400 last week and i have a 52 inch woods reverse roatation tiller. Was talking to the neighbor who has the same thing and he let me use his tiller before i use mine to see if i like the reverse rotation. My dad has always had forward rotation tillers and have done a good job. So i thought the reverse was suppose to dig deeper and do a better job. So today i hooked to the neighbors and tilled the trees for about an hour in ground that was tilled last year. Tiller went half way in the ground and chewed it up very good.......but the reverse takes alot of horsepower, i had to fether the 3 pt so i could keep from spinning the tires and killing the engine. Had it in 4 wheel drive also.
