Examined my baler belts and see its time to put a few new laces on. I have the tool and what a sun of a gun to use.
No handles so I put it in the vice, put the lace in then the belt ... After I squared and trim it ... I must be doing something wrong ... I had to put a pipe on the vice handle to get it to actually crimp into the belt ... I thought I was going to break the vise.
Has anyone used these? Is there a secret? Has anyone modified it to say put handles on the tool or something? Or is it just that hard?
