I use Honcho, a glyphosate - Roundup generic herbicide which contains a surfacent which foams up greatly when refilling the tank with a little left from the previous tankfull ... to the extent that I get half a 15 gal tank of H2O and half a tank of foam. I suspect that there's a more professional solution but I happen to have a little bottle of anti-foaming stuff I use to keep a perfectly good boiler of beer from boiling over that works great. 2 drops into the hose stream while filling the spray tank kills the foam, PDQ. I have no idea what the chemical is but it didn't blow up in my face when mixes in the tank; seemed to have no adverse affect on surfacent qualities when sprayed; and the wilting/killing action seemed to be the same as to that prior to using the additive.
