Re: RPM while snow blowing. ?4 3038g LS
I have the XR3135H. I run at 2000 - 2200 RPM any time I'm doing anything with load. I know this is a bit higher than needed, but it also allows exhaust to heat up and requires less regen cycles. My dealer approved of this practice and said near-idle is fine for moving in L-M gears, but if doing work or creating load, extra RPM is desirable. He said the 2000 - 2200 RPM range was great, and higher if PTO is engaged.
That being said, I am plowing with a 3pt hitch rear blade, not snow throwing.
