We have a RTV 1100 with Mattracks ordered.
One of my concerns was cold weather starting, so I emailed Kubota factory about the cold weather starting. They said the RTV 1100 has been tested and will start at -14 below without being plugged in. However they did say with our altitude 8,000+ feet we may have a problem with it being under power and may need to put the turbo or on it since we are going to put the Mattracks on it.

Has anyone put the turbo or supercharger on the RTV 1100 yet?

The unit should be in next week, so I will take some pictures.

Didn't know this was an option.
This would certainly make things interesting.
Anyone have any info?

turbo/blower not a factory option. Something you would have to do aftermarket.

What were some of the convincing factors that led you to go with Mattracks?

The factory rep recommended a turbo that worked very well with the 1100 but it cost around $3000.00 installed (ouch.) Nothing confirmed on the supercharger but it is in the works.
I hope I won稚 have to do either, but next week will be the test when our dealer brings it up to the parking lot and we drive it in the last 9.8 miles 5,500 to 8,000.
I went with the mattracks because of two reasons. First a couple of people have them on Rhino and a Tracker up here and they work really well. The second reason is in the spring we have about a mile or more of no snow to drive on to get to our vehicle and they hold up really well on dry, also in June you can go up the dirt trail and get in the snow with them.

Our Dealer HEART MOUNTAIN FARM SUPPLY is setting us up with a bed cage so we can haul more stuff. They will put some doors on it also. This is getting real exciting!!! Hopefully pick it up Monday.

Don't let the green eyed monster loose! Maybe he will let you drive it around if you stay at his place?
