RTV 900 fuel gauge

My fuel gauge is starting to stop working at lower tank levels. Fill it up it will start working again...sometime right away...sometime after some driving. Has anyone seen and fixed this problem?

Not sure about a fix but the gauge on my 900 has never really worked. The only times the needle will ever move from full will be when I'm down to probably 1 gallon of diesel.

check the connector on the back of the guage.
mine reads right for a while after that connector gets a wiggle.
