I just now read this. Reminds me of what my friends Dad said to me. He told me his wife and him were coming home from dinner the night before and his car had developed an annoying whining sound from the passenger side. (All this time letting on as though he needed me to look into this problem) He went on to say when they made it home and she got out of the car the whining magically stopped!! :laughing:

I did this at work on our "buggy" small utility truck. I did it using the gas pedal as the trigger. So if the gas was hit when the p brake was on the a back up alarm would sound. We un hooked the back up alarm so we didnt hear it squeal when driving in reverse so it was a easy canadate as a alarm buzzer. I dont know how to post pics yet. If your interested i can post a schematic once i figure out how.

2 switches. One that is closed when the parking brake is one. The other will be a normally closed switch that only opens when you have the shift selector in neutral. That way, neutral and PB = open circuit. Shift from neutral and the switch closes completing it and turning on the buzzer, siren, air horn. haha
