I need a little help with this one.
Our RTV 900 worked great and ran great until I had the dealer do the 100 hour service. (They had a special going trying to get some service business).
They changed the fluids and filters. They may have also "adjusted" the hydraulic break valve thingy so it doesn't stop so suddenly. The stopping never bothered me and I did not ask them to adjust it.
Now the RTV hesitates when I press the accelerator. It revs up, just sits there for a second or two and finally starts to move. Same thing in all three forward gears and reverse. It also seems to have much less power than before.
I called and complained and they SAID they'd talk to the tech that did the work and immediately get back to me. Well, they haven't gotten back to me----unless "immediately" means more than a week. I've called and left another message and still no response. I'm to the point now where I may not want them working on it anymore.
It's another one of those things that I should have just done the service myself.
Anyway, any ideas as to what may be happening? Could they have installed the wrong or cheapo hyd. fluids? Did adjusting that valve (I forget what it's called) cause this? Could it simply be the cooler weather? We live in coastal South Carolina and it doesn't really get that cold here.
Thanks!
Richard B.
