Besides putting a tool box or something in the cargo area, what's everyone doing for storage? I know someone that's going to make a storage box for under the hood (cheaper than the Kubota one) but hasn't completed it yet.

Here! Here! bczoom I bought the Kubota tub and glove box accessories and I was quite disappointed with the space. I would have thought they would be better designed to accommodate more room for stuff. Please post when you find a better solution. Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have to give my local Kubota dealer credit for one thing at least; he looked at the glove box and the under the hood storage piece from Kubota and stated that he couldn't sell something like that to his customers. He said that it not only was extremely over priced, but the quality and size was not up to par. Maybe Kubota will get on the ball with those two items and make them better and reasonably priced. Right now, those two "factory" options should be a big time embarrassment for Kubota! As an RTV owner, I've invested a sizable sum of my hard earned money for Kubota's brand new entry into the UV market. I would expect Kubota to respond in kind, by developing needed or missing items for their RTV, especially for those of us who have made their new venture a profitable and successful one into the UV market.

Congrats to your dealer. I wish my dealer would/could do the same. I can't even get accessories. To date, the only thing he's been able to get me is the speedo. I've had accessories (simple stuff - bed liner and winch mount) on order with him for 3 months now. Still haven't seen them.

I'm disappointed with many of Kubota's accessories which is why I'm making my own or waiting for Todd's.

I'm with you Brent on Kubota's lack of insight/production on accessories and the extreme prices they're demanding. I'm disappointed with many of Kubota's accessories which is why I'm making my own or waiting for Todd's.

Oh well. Doesn't have to do with "RTV Storage" but just wanted to vent a little. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I think everyone is a bit confused by the pricing on the glove box and front storage container. Even our dealer rep wasn't quite sure what they where thinking. I think some of the prices can be justified, the windshield for example lists at a full $600. Thats steep! But its also a curved automotive windshield that won't scratch and cloud like the plexi on a gator. They certinaly did everything right and I think some of the cost can be justified. My one complaint is that there is not very much room between cost and list price. So little room that after installation your lucky to come up with a profit on the accessories.

The reason its glass is because of the wiper. It has to be glass otherwise it will scratch. All utv's with available wipers will have glass instread of plexy ..
