talked to my dealer today, he just got back from kubota meeting, told me new rtv will be available in april with integrated automotive type cab with ac, 5 more hp larger air box one piece rops. cost with cab and air approx 4500-5000 more than base rtv now so about 14,500 to 15,000. i think i will need one.

I knew the cab and ac were coming but not the added hp. I honestly would not be able to function without mine. I use it for everything. I get it out in the morning and put it back in at dark.

My dealer is apparently at some Kubota meeting getting all the info and supposedly seeing this new beast. Man, it's already got my check book finger itchy! :D

i plan to buy one, so now i need to decide when to sell my current rtv.i wonder if the new models will kill the resale of the old units. i would sell it now if i could be certain new models will be available in april. i start working summer food plots end of april and the rtv sure makes it easier. have a rhino for trail riding but is not a work horse like the kubota.

There are not changes to the 900. This will only appeal to a select few so I would not be concerned about resale. Availability will probably go beyond april. I believe the first units arrive april/june - and they tend to come slowly at first.

I saw it, when you see it - you will want it. Its amazing. The fit and finish are supurb. It feels more like a truck than a UTV. Retail will be around 15k, basily about $1000 more than adding a steel cab and heat to a 900.

Interesting.

I don't consider my RTV a year round vehicle. And don't really use it that much in the winter months, so I for one cannot see the current batch losing their resale value.

I am glad the men in orange continue to explore refinements for this model. HP and speed to get me to 35mph would be cool. HP will do.

As opposed to a steet bike, I definitely consider my RTV a year round use vehicle. Most people must think the same because their sales do not drop off to nothing in the winter like a motorcycle would. I hope the existing models don't drop in resale because I'm going to be looking to sell or trade my current RTV for a new one, and I am nowhere near 100 hours yet on my RTV and it was one of the first ones produced.

We have 108 hours on our RTV. We use it almost daily as an all purpose do-all. It is not a neccessity but we would sure miss it if it was gone. The new cab enclosure sounds interesting and the five extra hp would be nice. Ours has the the hard cab and it is used year round from plowing our 660' drive, hauling firewood to going deer hunting. I sure would like to put a set of tracks on ours but just cannot justify the expense.
Brent do you ever hear from Jippy anymore? Our old computer hard drive crashed and we lost his address.

Yup, he'd still alive and kicking. The only difference now is that he won't admit to knowing me. :D He's still a good guy and I'm still a bad guy. ;)
