So my 2014 rtv-x900 just got something new that happened. When it is on or just the key on to use the glow plugs, I get a constant left blinker light and seatbelt light. Now keep in mind that this vehicle has neither of those options.
Going through the wsm schematics, I see that both of those signals to light up those lights are just looking for a ground. So I pulled the display and pulled those wires out of the plugs for the instrument panel. I have no ground, so I left those signal wires disconnected, and reconnected the plug, and still have those lights displayed. So now I'm assuming that the panel is bad.
Has anyone had to have their instrument panel replaced? I can't find anything online or in the wsm for a part number.
I do see that the wiring is installed for everything as if it was a rtv-x1120, for the blinkers and seatbelts, maybe an option on mine. I was worried maybe some wires were chafing somewhere, but now I feel pretty confident that it's just an instrument panel.
I did pull and opened up the instrument panel, and it looked fine nothing burnt inside. Granted those lights aren't used on my model, but just bothers me.
Thanks for your help, and sorry for the long post
