RTV900 Excessive Rear Tire Wear ?

Excessive toe out could be causing that. IMHO, it would have to be enough to be quite easily visible. A 4ft straight edge laid horizontally against the front and back edges of the rear wheels would make it VERY apparent.

The rear tires are held in alignment by the large tube crossmember that the rear hitch is fastened to. No adjustments of any kind.

If the rears are out of alignment it had to have been built that way.

As others have mentioned, I'd think the rear tires would visually appear to be leaning in at the top.

I tried to attach a pic of the setup but can't for some reason.

Have you consulted with your Kubota dealer about this problem. They may be able to help with a fix, of course they may also just say that you overloaded it and bent the axle.

Finally let me load a pic.

This tube assembly holds the rear wheel hub assemblies. This determines camber. The rear axle shafts are CV shafts. So, if the bearings are good, the only thing left determining camber is this assembly.

Has me stumped. don't see any adjustment of any kind, and nothing noticeable bent or damaged that I can tell. I'm sure that I haven't bent anything in the limited use it has gotten around here. It does have the 440 mag tires and aluminum rims, but can't see that that makes any difference. And since both tires are wearing (although the left is considerably worse) I don't' think it could be defective tires. All tires are running at 18" psi. The left rear is the primary drive tire correct? That would account for more wear on the left tire, but I SELDOM run in 4wd or use the dif lock, and then only off road for short distances, so what would cause the right to wear like this? Will talk to my dealer next time I am near, just to see if he has seen the problem before.
Hate to replace the tires without knowing what the cause of this is. Could remount to opposite side I guess and even out wear.

I guess if I wanted to extend life of those tires I'd dismount them and remount opposite direction on the rims.

What's with the can? It looks positioned for purpose.

I noticed that after posting. I think it was a reference concerning how much space between the tube and the hydraulic dump bed pump. Then if you look to the right of the can you see a rubber bump stop fastened to the frame. Put a load on the rear springs and the bump stop hits before the pump assembly hits the tube. This tells me how far I can raise the hitch without hitting the pump. Sorry if that don't make sense.

Is it possible that you frequent a high crowned path or road that would cause the inside wear?
