I have a RTV900; Worksite model with the extra hydraulics on the back. Serial #16126. I want to use a log splitter connected to the extra hydraulic line. I've read that the newer models have an oil cooler relative to the extra hydraulic line.

Do I need the cooler? Can I install the cooler? I understand, from a kind fellow here on the site that the new models have an extra pto shaft on the motor that actually runs the extra hydraulic line. Mine is part of the main system.

Thanks for any help!

Larry

how much is the cooler setup? and is ther anyway you could hook a 15' or longer hydro hose to it?? the reason i'm asking is back when i was doing some sand blasting we used to take about 25 foot of out air hose and coil it up in the bottom of a plastick drum then throw a few bags of ice over it man we was the only guys in the yard to go into a 130+ cegree tank and blast and not come out for breaks . the air inside would get cooled by running through the ice and when it got to us it was down in the high60's low 70's but if yout had a drum and filled it with water and coild as much hose up in it you wouldn't need to add that oil cooler plus i think hose and a drum is alot cheaper.i know it would work i'm positive. the only thing id the extra oil for the extra hose.
