RTVX900 diesel - Oil filter question Help, please!

I have a 2018 Kubota RTVX900 Diesel. It has just over 50 hours on it, and I was going to do the first oil change. The filter that the dealer sold me is a larger diameter than the factory filter. The new one is about a 3" dia. The old one is 2.5" or less. (I didn't take it off yet) The problem with the larger oil filter is, there is a (maybe coolant) hose right above it, and I don't think that the bigger filter will fit. The OEM filter looks like it is already touching the hose.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I have a 2014 and have only used amsoil filters, but you are right that hose does touch it. The amsoil filter was the same size as the original one I took off. Amsoil pn# EAOM103

Sounds to me like the dealer looked it up wrong. Usually upsized filters are longer not wider. But if you are after a standard filter, it should match the OEM one exactly.

Make sure the parts guy knows you have an X900.

If you still have the box, or receipt that pn# should be HH150-32430
