well had our first snowfall this morning. I was anxious to try out my modifaction. I added a 10" wide baler belt to the 7' rear blade. I let approx 4" hang below the Landpride blade edge. From reading the posts on here it was said it wouldn't tear up the concrete, and be less disturbing to the gravel in the driveway.
Well it seemed to pull as much gravel as before, I had been out about 2 hours and it cut the belting at the blade edge.
So I guess I'll try the horse stall matt. I have conveyor belting but it appears it would do the dame as what I have.

Try cutting piece of 2" to 4" PVC pipe and slipping it over the cutting edge of your blade. They don't last long but it works. I've got a couple of tail wheels to mount on each side of my blade. Pull the pin so the blade can float side to side. I haven't done it yet but I'm going to eventually get a hydraulic top link so I can adjust the height of the blade as needed without getting off the tractor.

This is exactly how I solved this ,also with cheapest PVC pipe

I'm mid-process of installing a piece of 1-1/4" steel pipe on the bottom of mine. Slit the pipe with my plasma cutter(gawd, I love that thing..!!), and got it slipped on. Got the tabs welded on the backside, to bolt to moldboard. Forgot my 1/2" drill was at the other place, and picked it up today. Will drill the tabs, then flip, and weld tabs on the other side, then get it bolted together.

May venture to the shop tomorrow, and get that project finished.

Calling for near 50 here by Monday, so may be a while before I can try it out. Next year, or year after would suit me fine... ;)
