We, as Hoomans do not deserve Doggos, but our lives are so much better with them.

We have two boys, both 7 year old GSD's, and I can't imagine life without them. I hate to hear about your puppers, but I can tell you gave him his BEST life.

I have thought about my boys getting old, and the time when I have to let them go. I can only hope that I have the courage to do so when it's best for them, not for me.

Our time with them is entirely too short.

Sorry for your loss. We lost Henry last September and it was incredibly difficult for us. As @Darth_DMack said, we don't deserve our dogs but they love us anyway and we love them for it.

Thanks for the kind thoughts. The long walks has ceased quite awhile ago. He had a good long life. I have had 8 boxers over the years, most only lived to maybe ten.

So sorry for your loss. "Ruff Day" indeed. I've had 4. I had to put my yellow lab (would've been 13 in June) down about a month ago. I need to change my avatar...
