I was out today, sweating and brush hogging and all at once the hiss of air, nice hole in the left front tire. go to the tire store for a titan 25x8.5-14 6pr ss tire, the guy at the counter said looks like an odd ball tire size, can't get one till maybe Wedsday, if i'm lucky. I suppose that when I get one, I'll order an extra. now I need to figure out a conversion to get something thats not odd bal, thing is with the front in 4wd, that pulls slightly harder then the rear, I'll have to convert all 4, when the rears wear out. this suck royally
tractor down can't make any green MF1528

How large is the hole? If it's about a 1/4 inch or smaller tire sealer will seal it up. Is the hole in the tread area or the sidewall?

click on this link...Titan® 2006 Tire catalog .. not really an odd ball size, don't spend a half ton of money because one counter person says something..(counter person could be knowledgeable otherwise though) If I'm missing something about tire type please disregard this post....good luck

Yes .. a patch on inside of tire and a tube will make a tire useable unless it's a big hole....

A similar thing happened when I was taking out heavy brush. Not only did the air come out but also the antifreeze the dealer had put in the tires. I took both front tires off and had the dealer fill them with foam. No more flat tire worries.

What dealer near you filled them with foam and what are the cons if any to doing this?

Thanks,
Russ

My dealer is located in Evans City PA. I now have all 4 tires filled with foam. It does add a lot of weight and if you use the tractor for mowing, it will leave deeper tracks on the turf.
