Running a cat. 1 Bhog in cat. 2 links?

Ok was hooking up the John Deere MX6 mower to my spanking new L5040 Kubota with catagory 2 links. I had the bushings but my mom tossed them aside and the links went on the pins VERY easy without them. So I mowed some with it like that and for the life of me can't see any reason to use the bushings. I'm not backing it into brush just pulling it along in weeds and grass in overgrown fields that have all the trees already out of it. Mower and tractor did great. I would guess there would be some added momentum stress but now much with a 1/8th inch extra space? I'm going to just run the catagory one MX6 in the catagory two holes for now and see if any wear is apparent.:confused2: Anyone else doing this without the adapter bushings?

Put the bushings back in. You will prematurely wear out the lower arms and top link and possibly any other "sized" holes that get jarred. Tell your mom not to toss them aside.

make sure you check the gear box on the BH...
Some have HP limits. If you go past those limits it can damage the gear box or worse...

I say this as I am unsure if you know or not..
