Howdy,
I purchased a wreck of an old running gear for $50 and am getting a great basic lesson. I believe it is an old electric.
I pulled one wheel off and removed the bearings. The bearings are both Timkens and the inside is a 14136A. None of the wheels have any grease seals. Does anyone know if they came with grease seals (I assume they would). How do I determine which grease seals to replace without a number.
Also the wheels are five hole 15". Any good place to find these, since they are fairly rusted out?
This is kinda fun for a non-mechanic.
