Yesterday I needed my generator and the rear door of my tool body truck was blocked by a trailer. I tied the door back and started my generator. By the time I got back to the truck to plug in the cord ,gas was running down the floor towards the cab. The seat of the carburator had just went bad. If I had plugged in the cord ,I would have lost my truck and job trailer. I guess all the stickers on the side of the generator are not all bull____ after all.

That's scary...

On the lighter side of running a generator in a truck bed, I once put a large welder in an old rust-bucket truck and went to work. I ran it for a day, and unbeknownst to me, it shook the loose rust off the truck. When I came back the next day, there was a rusty outline of the truck where I had parked the day before!
