rusted rims

I noticed todat the rear rim on my 65 massey has a rusted out area and is leaking fluid and tire is flat. do I repair rim or replace the are the spin lock type ?? who sells new ones thanks

Howdy Mike, just went thru this with a 165 massey.
What a ____ problem.
I guess it's got atube in it???
spin out rims???
Picture is worth a , U know.
short story, rotted around value.
rolled a piece to fit, welded and ground SMOOTH edges, new tube, carry on, HTH, JoeB

i would weld it to and after you get it welded paint the rim before you put the tire back on ..thats the inside . i have welded rims that had to be welded all the way around the hole rim and thats both sides ...ps to take the tire off leave it on the tractor take a sledge and pound around the outside then the inside when it pops then take the bares to it ..heavy but very easy to change ..and when you put back on soap things up good ..good luck
