About to offer dealer $$$ for a RTV 900 Worksite model. Has anyone have suggestions on Invoice Cost to dealer or what a fair price would be with Cab (Metal roof/windshield/and soft doors?? Thanks

Rex,

I did a search in the ATV section and came up with these links on pricing.

RTV price

RTV Pricing

RTV cab height <<< This thread has pricing for a setup similar to what you're looking at.

List price on RTV 900

Help on picking and pricing UTV <<< This one also has pricing with the options you're looking at.

There's more but you should get a good idea from these threads.

I'd also expect a 3% or so increase for the price of a 2005.

Well, I finally took the plunge, and negotiated the deal: RTV 900 Worksite with Cab (Metal canopy with soft sided/doors package) for $11.500 delivered this weekend. Thanks for all your input. I'll keep you posted if gauge, drivetrain rattles and llinkage problems still exists. Kubota current financing sealed the deal.

Congrats!!!

Time to start getting accessories!!
Tell us again what your primary uses are going to be. Things like a winch, windshield (unless it came with the cab), bed liner... could be handy.

Primarily hauling stuff, brush clearing and farm maintance. The Cab comes with windshield. Wondering if I should get the Bedliner or spray in liner. I have spray in liner in my truck bed, and love it. But since the RTV has a dump, wondering if the Kubota liner is suitable. I'm going to get heater for winter use. Do you have any insight on other accessories. The only reservation I have with the Winch is the lightness of the RTV. What are your thoughts. REX

I have a spray in liner on my RTV. I love it. I would do it all over again. I dont like the plastic liners much.

Rex,

What do you mean by the "lightness of the RTV"? Most everyone is running either the Ramsey or Warn 3000# winch on the RTV. 2500# would be about the minimum.

Do a search in the ATV forum for "liner". You should get lots of hits. Everyone that has installed the spray-in seems to like it a lot. For high-impact loads (e.g. throwing firewood or larger rocks), the liner over the spray in would offer the best protection.

For other accessories, that's a personal preference.
On mine, I put in:
Stereo/amp/4 speakers
4 forward facing lights
1 passenger compartment light
1 cargo box light
2 side lights
1 rear receiver light
another 12V accessory plug
accessory bar (that has a pistol holder, GPS/Cell holder, spotlight...)
air horns
A replacement cargo box with storage boxes on both sides
A fertilizer/salt spreader that mounts on the rear of the box
new tires/rims
I made a windshield
Ramsey 3K# winch

and other stuff I can't think of right now...

PS. check out hunterworks.com for RTV accessories. He makes/has nice stuff.

I don't recall but will see if I can find.

Oh yea... I also put the biggest deep cycle marine battery I could make fit.
