Ryobi 40V RWD Walk Behind Mower Recall.

I have been using the whisper quiet 40 volt mower for three seasons and I really liked it for several reasons over the gas jobs. They had a recent recall which had me disable the one I owned. Then they had me pickup a replacement at Home Depot last week. Most got the replacement shipped to them from Ryobi without batteries and charger.
I now have four, 40 volt 6ah batteries but I also have a leaf vacuum, weed Wacker, leaf blower, cultivator, and edger-all by Ryobi and all 40v. Should be ok for a while.

I had the self propelled model for a few years. Bought it from a guy that was moving. My batteries eventually went and local battery repair shop could not fix them. I sold the mower and weedeater on marketplace to someone that had working batteries.
I have switched over to Echo because their batteries can be repaired. Haven't got the mower. yet but it is coming. I spent a lot of time on a push mower and the battery one was very nice. I would 100% recommend someone running a battery push mower now at this point. The prices are not bad compared to gas.

Been using Ryobi and Milwaukee batteried tools now for over a decade. Had 3 m12 batteries die, no m18 yet. Had onky one 40 volt Ryobi go because i dropped it on concrete.

I have 10 40v various sized Ryobis...runs two weed walkers, leaf blower, garden cultivator, puah mower and saw.

I am tickled pink with reliabilty, durability and power with both companies. I also get them recharged for free with my solar...so free fuel.
