RZT 42 Electric Clutch

When the clutch is engaged, the engine shuts off. Does that indicate a shorted clutch?

Usually if the engine dies when you engage the electric clutch it is a seat switch problem. Make sure all the pulleys and blades turn on the deck. could also be a seized bearing.
