Recently my hydraulics have slowed down; The front end loader as well as the 3-point atatchment have a several second delay prior to moving up or down.

It has always seemed a little slow, not sure how fast it is supposed to raise the loader bucket, but this hesitation is a new problem. Any suggestions?

The machine is a S470 Satoh Buck (3 cyl diesel)

PS Fluid level topped off (to the appropriate level per diagram) Recently I changed the fluid (with premium universal tractor fluid)

Is there a screen / filter that may need attention?

Got it, thanks mit. I assume that the oil will need to be completely drained prior to removal (?)

The photo link you provided was helpful... is this from a manual for my tractor? I would like to find a source to buy one.

yes you have to drain the oil to work on the filter.
