I bought a used (45hr) Bobcat S160 last week and I've noticed that I need to rotate my left heel back further (and harder) to get the lift arms up. The right pedal for bucket curl works fine. Is there an adjustment for pedals? After a few hours left knee and ankle starts to get really sore. I've looked under the pedal to see if something is hitting - but - don't see anything.

Also - my first skid-steer - so welcome any and all advice! Thanks!

Xfaxman-that's basically what I did until I can look into it further and the temps in south TX drop below 100. I cut a thick rubber hose and slid it over the bottom of the pedal and secured it with 3 ty-wraps. Works much better and knee/ankle aren't sore. Thre must be some sort of adjustment under the cab somewhere.

I thought I replied to this some time back, but guess it was 1 of those that my post didn't take. Anyway, if you closely under the pedal you will see 2 bolts going vertically down through the pedal bracket into floor of the machine. The bracket has slotted holes. Use 9/16" wrench to loosen the bolts then slide pedal assembly forward to bring the heel end of pedal up. This changes the position of pedal in neutral, so when heel pressed for lift your angle is not a quite the sharp degree.

SSdoxie - OMG what a difference! The two pedals were adusted totally opposite. I don't know if the previous owner had one leg shorter than the other - or for some other reason. When I set the left pedal exactly like the right pedal -it made a wonderful difference!!

Thank you so very much this was a very simple fix that has made a huge difference for me!!

Thanks barely describes my gratitude!!

Glad I could help. It may not have been the previous owner that set them. Sometimes the assembly workers don't always get them close to mid-point adjustment like the should.
