Hello first time posting on here i am replacing the idler for the drive belt on the s300 and I try to figure out if they need some lube or not?i am getting confused cause they are sealed bearings (meaning they are already lube)but there is a cap image-2020-04-08-08:05:31-587.jpg
Whit some oil on it ,so I don’t if some of you guy work on this already and know if they need oil lube or not, thank you

Why do you think it needs oil/grease?

The rubber seals can be lifted and removed.

Repack with fresh grease reinstall seals.

I did take the bearings out of the idler and they was broke(balls fall out)so I order new bearings from bobcat,I was asking about the lube because there was some oil on the dust cap that protects the bearings but probably was the grease melted from the bearings and that’s why they fail
