The S373 had a fried alternator and fried regulator and wiring harness when we got it. While these parts seem to be available they are a bit pricey. Since I had to pretty much build a new wiring harness it was decided to put a single wire alternator on. Simple install but you will have to make spacers, cut the housing boss, and make an upper bracket to align pulleys, and I had to cut down the back of the pulley to get belt alignment correct. No provisions for charging lamp on this unit, but you can change the internal regulator (costs as much as the entire alt) if you really want it.

This is the one installed. Starts charging at about 1200 engine RPM with the supplied pulley but if you can find a smaller pulley should work at idle. Doesn't hurt anything as there is about zero electrical draw on this tractor and very little time is spent at idle. Only needs one wire from alternator + terminal to the starter + lug. Requires different length belt.

This one might be better for some applications, has provisions for the charge lamp, but whether it will fit easier is unknown. I suspect the alternator cases are the same with different internals and the 3 wire regulator.
