S550G Governor Question

Hi Everyone, anyone know anything about governors?
I need to know how to adjust and change oil. I ordered
the owners manual and it covers everything but the
governor. The problem is the governor is pulling my RPS'S
back to approx 1000 instead of holding at 2100.
