The input shaft on my S650G hydraulic pump has broken, inside the block coupling that connects it to the engine drive shaft. Any ideas why this is happening? There isn't any way to adjust alignment that I can see. Is it possible that engine vibration stresses the pump shaft? Or maybe the connector isn't holding the join rigidly enough? If so, what might be done to correct it? I'm trying to get the shaft repaired but am concerned it will just break again. Thanks for any suggestions.
