s753 shibuara diesel turning fuel up in 1220 ford

hello!!! i am new here
i have a 1220 ford,
it is a junker tractor all the tin is shot its a gear shift it dont start when its cold (it will just takes a while) so i just kinda beat the crap out of it if u know what i mean. i got it from a guy to use for my snowplowing it works awesome just takes a little bit to get it started in the morning, but like i said i got it from a guy for 300 not running but i got it running and now i use it but i was wondering sconce it was a mechanical injection pump (there is NO electrical in the fuel delivery system) how to turn the fuel pump up on it or get it so it gets more fuel i was wondering there was just a bolt on the injection pump or something but i did not want to mess with anything till someone that knew what they were doing said something. thanks for looking.

I have a 1510 and had thought of doing this to mine. I have a lot of experience with tractors/diesels in general (mainly 5.9 Cummins) and am a pretty good hand at turning up a 12 valve.

However, I didn't really see much need in turning up the little 3cyl diesel on my tractor for a few reasons:
-mine has all the power now that I need
-it also has probably about as much power as the clutch can reliably handle (no idea how many hours on the clutch)
-mine also blows a good amount of black smoke under load or WOT. (Black smoke is unburnt fuel, which means the engine is getting more than it really needs, which means wasting fuel essentially)

Now, this was my reasoning for not needing to turn mine up. But to answer your question, there should be a screw on the pump that can be adjusted to allow more fueling.
