Sad Story

We had a terrible accident in central CT recently.
A 16 year old boy was driving a tractor with a trailer attached. His younger brother was standing on the hitch area of the trailer. He was attempting to drive out onto a public road when traffic caused him to stop and back up. His younger brother fell off and was run over by the tractor and killed. When I read the story it tore my heart out.
I brought the newspaper article home and my son and I read it together. I wanted him to understand what could happen when operating a tractor. He is a very responsible kid but when you are young you just do not think sometime.

That certainly is a sad story and my heart goes out to the family. I also can't help but feel that somebody needs a good slap for EVER allowing a passenger to ride along like that, especially on and in the area of the hitch.
This was truly a senseless and avoidable tragedy. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
