Baetke my dealer had never heard of the problem I asked them to report it to Deere who sais they hadn't heard of the problem.
I asked my dealer to call report it to Deere.
Derre's suggestion was to add the washers on the tank mount which would move the tank back.
Waiting to do mine when the tank is almost empty, but haven't used much fuel lately.
I do wish Deere would not bury their head in the sand and acknowledge the problem. A minor problem that leads to bent hoods.

This is actually a known problem and Mama is aware of it even if the dealer isn't. My 2720 had the same problem when I first got it. I rebent the brackets and threw in a washer. The other green tractor forum has a sticky on it.
