Salvage titles?

I agree with you scout it doesn't pass the smell test something is fishy good move staying away from that one there will be more there always is don't give up. Maybe find a local rebuilder and get something from him or have him buy you something and then fix it I did that all the time for people!

ebay is ok usually... I know people who have bought and sold cars there but I have heard the nightmares also its buyer beware for sure if you cant at least see something in person locally its a huge gamble taking someones word.

Btw since you mentioned it I just finished the last car I bought while I was still a dealer in 07. Its a 92 Toyota MR2 took me 3 years to find the time to finish the thing and it wasn't even hurt bad at all so if interested in a nice 2 seat rear engine sports car I got one.

We have saved 10's of 1000's of $ buying rebuilt cars for years. Have a friend we trust, he buys at auction, only does cosmetic work, no engines or tranny's. Never had a problem with insurance either, until our renewal came up this August, and American Family said they won't insure rebuilt or salvaged. Went to another independent agency in town, they said, "No problem." Auto Owners it is for us now.
