same as john deere!

I had a salesman tell me that a cubcadet ex32a tlb is the same indentical machine as a john deere.He didnt give me the john deere compareable model if anyone knows,im a little interested.I know they both have yanmar engines,but is that it thanks

The engines in the Cub Cadet ex3200 and the John Deere 3320 are similar if not the same. The attachment hydraulic pump capacity on the CC is 5.6 GPM (9.9 total) compared to the JD 8.6 GPM (13.9 total). The clutch on the CC is dry, and on the JD it is wet. The 3 pt hitch lift capacity on the CC is 1100 lbs; on the JD it is 2200 lbs (24 behind link arms on both). The weight of the CC is 2550 lbs, the JD weighs 2900 lbs.

Perhaps the CC dealer may have been speaking of a different JD model. But I know of no "same" current model.

Not exactly the same, but the specs on a JD 3032e are very close to those of the CC EX3200. The CC is about 450# heavier, and has more hydraulic and steering pump flow (.3 gpm more for each), but the JD lifts about 200# or so more on the 3 pt. @ 24" behind the links. The wheelbase on the 2 tractors is within 1" also. The EX3200 is certainly not comparable to a 3320, though I'm sure Cub Cadet would like it if buyers made that comparison. Not to take anything away from the Cub Cadets, but their specs match up to the economy tractors from JD and Kubota--they're good solid machines with more modern features, but they don't have top of the line options like eHydro of HST+.
