Same Minitauro 60 hydraulic setup

I'm trying to make sense of the weird hydraulic setup on my Same Minitauro 60.

From the factory these tractors have 3PL lift & depth controls attached to the steering column, but on mine the depth control is disconnected and the lift control seems to be seized up.

On my tractor there is a new lever fitted to the left hand side of the hydraulic fluid tank behind the seat.

I've attached a photo with various hydraulic ports labelled.

The thick black line drawn in is to indicate that there is a hydraulic hose there which is missing from the photo. The hose is about 1 metre in length.

I'm hopeful that someone experienced in old tractor hydraulics can help me understand what's going on here.

I would like to be able to fit a crowd action loader and a svc port at the rear to lift my disc mower.

Someone has described fitted a 3 way hydraulic valve to direct flow to either the 3PL or the loader valve bank, but that's about as far as we've got.

I removed the pipeline (between port 3 and port 1 in the previous picture) running from the valve up to the tank inlet at the top to replace some seeping copper washers and now the hydraulics won't lift up.
It did very little disassembly and am confident it's reassembled correctly.
My only guess is that either the hydraulic pump has failed (coincidence) or I've introduced an airlock into the system.
The workshop manual troubleshooting section is very basic and doesn't help me.

Any suggestions from the audience as to how I might check to see if the hydraulic pump is actually working or how I might clear an air blockage ?

Two days later and the hydraulics are working ok. Still a mystery, but working now so I'm happy.
