Lamborghini 450 Runner, SAME Tiger 70, Kioti CS2610
Well time to replace the Lamborghini 450 Runner (45HP) with the larger SAME Tiger 70 (70HP). Nothing wrong with the Lamborghini but I need two things 1. A FEL and 2. More weight. To put a FEL on the Lamborghini is around AUD$10k but it will not increase the price by half that. So enter the Tiger 70. Both are SAME tractors and I have been very happy with the Lamborghini so only natural to stick to what you know. Plus I'm getting a very good deal on the Tiger. I don't do many hours but I do want the machine to be capable and this will be my last tractor purchase.

If you have possibility, take a model Argon (I don't know do they import it in AU).
It's basically the same traktor, just with 15F+15R gears.
If you buy Tiger, you'll miss that great feature which you already have on Runner (12+12 I think?).
We have older, air cooled Argon 70, y2002, with 25+12 gears.

If you can afford, model Dorado/R2 will be even better choice (bigger wheelbase, and better transmission).

Thanks @ZJ_HR but I have now done the deal on the Tiger 70 and it should be arriving in the next few weeks. To be honest the 70 is the best I could afford and I'm pretty happy with the deal I got. I'm OK with the less gears, I never use the 12R I have so the 12F should be OK. I was concerned with the tractor being made in India but I think it should be OK also. Thanks for the advice.

Hoping the truck driver is wearing his santa suit :)

Tractor arrived today and I took the day off to play with it.

Bigger than I thought.

Takes a bit of getting used to, where the gears are etc. Brakes are a bit soft.

Little hydraulic leak when the TnT is installed at one ,of the quick connect connections. Not stressed about it.

Hydraulics not as powerful as I expected though I may need to up the revs a bit.

Overall pretty happy, its a big tractor with a big bucket.

Well the hydraulic leak has got a whole lot worse so am communicating with the dealer. Might be easier for me just to take it into the hydraulic shop and get it sorted. Perhaps get a flow control as well I reckon the hydraulic toplink is fine without the flow control but the side needs it.

The other problem I'm having is the brakes. They are just not very strong. I did a quick test and with the pedals unlinked and using one at a time I find the right rear requires a lot of force and it goes most of the way to the floor just locking the wheel, though not with consistency. The left is much worse with very little braking obtained and the wheel does not lock with almost all the travel used.

Other than those issues the tractor is very strong, simple, but strong and I reckon geared pretty well. I have been shifting rocks with the loader and have moved about 20sqm so far. Am going to build a screen to extract the dirt from the rocks shortly. I have also done some deep ripping (between 500mm and 700mm) and while the ground was a bit too wet the tractor did well.

Mine has about 2200 hrs 1n 12years of light work.
No problem with brakes. Mine has single disk all wheels brakes, and your has double rear disks and beefier halfshafts.
Only problem i have is hard shifting (like clutch is not disegaging).

What tire sizes are on your tractor?
Mine has 360/70-R20 fronts and 420/70-R30" rears.

Sorry for taking so long to reply. Mine has 11.2-R24 Front and 16.9-R30 rears. I only have 80 hours so far and I would really love a F-R shifter like my old Lamborghini but all things come at a cost and I think this is an economy model. A nice step up from the 45hp to the 70hp pulls the ripper (depth 700mm) through the rocky soil a lot easier and doesn't break the tractor, also it's awesome having a loader.

Pretty happy with it. Back in tomorrow to have a couple of oil leaks sorted out. One from the front right end of the diff and the other from the PTO shaft.
