My horse stable front has stable doors and sliding door, concrete barn floor and hard packed sand lot about 40ft x 60ft. (Picture was taken last fall), about every week or two I clean area with a 7ft back blade turned backwards then push manure into a compost pile at end.
Sand lot was compacted by bulldozer so it's about like concrete and about once/month I put 1"-2" sand on it.
It only looks nice a few days, then horse piles.
Would a 3 point rake like this work? I'm thinking it would be easier that 700# rear blade and less likely to remove sand? And used for other things like sticks or pine needles?
Once manure raked into a pile it would be easy with FEL into compost pile.
