Hey all, my brother in law called me up last night stating that he was having problems with his 3pt staying up. The tractor is a satoh beaver that he has had for about 15 years and just recently started having the problem, i dont know much else about it. It lifts and lowers fine but to get it to stay up the lever must be held in the neutral setting. if you let go of the lever, it just falls into the lower setting and the hitch drops. It seemed to me that there was probably just a bad detent so we pulled the cover off and found that there are no detents or springs to keep the lever in the neutral position. it will stay up if the flow control valve under the seat is shut, the system pressure is at 1950, and the FEL works fine. because there are no detents im assuming that the spool valve for the hitch is bad? just trying to get another opinion before we order parts.
Thanks
