Hi there,
I've just purchased a new to me Satoh beaver III with a damaged gear in the transmission. The previous owner had the whole thing apart and decided to just try and weld the damaged gear and lathe it down/file or grind the teeth. According to him it lasted around a month like that. I pulled the whole thing apart yesterday and have posted a picture of what I need (a long as a couple extras of the process). Maybe you guys know a bit more about these than Google? What's the best place you guys/girls have come across for parts for these old tractors? Forgive my lack of knowledge, this is the first tractor I've owned (or even operated!) Thanks!
Adam
