Satoh Bison S650G RPM meter cable

I have a Satoh S650 G Bison. My tractor meter or RPM gauge has not been working in while and I finally got to remove the cable between the gauge and the governor. Spinning the cable on the governor end does not spin the opposite end suggesting the inner cable is boke. Any suggestion where to find a replacement cable. Will a speedometer cable work. If so, for which vehicle?

If the ends are the same, sure, but where to find ?
Take the old cable and visit a recycle yard, never mind length, just be sure ends are the same as you can re route or coil the excess.

I've gone to Napa and bought a speedometer cable repair kit and just threaded the new cable into the old sheath. It comes with universal type ends that you just crimp onto the cable. You can also find speedometer cable kits at speedometer repair shops. look for them in the Yellow pages.
