Satoh S-650 G for Parts

steve kind of off subject but there is a S-650G that I stopped and looked at today. It looks really ruff but the hour meter only has 1400 hrs on it. Question is, the name tag said it was a 25hp tractor is this the fly wheel or the PTO hp? Is this thing gas or diesel? Just wondering if you could answer these questions. I have really been looking for a compact tractor by the way this one does have a loader with 2 lever controls.

Hey,
The 25 HP is the PTO horsepower and the tractor is a gas.

I have the original Mfg. brochure for Satoh S-650G
It states Max output 25BHP
Max PTO output 23 @ 2800 rpm
Max PTO torque 46.9 ft.lb./rpm @ 2400 rpm
Haven't run it since 2910 arrived. I think I hurt it's feelings.

Hello John,
I have the shop(?) book copied single sided. approx 1 inch thick
I'm not sure what's wrong, I think maybe I've messed up the valve lifter settings. It will crank and run fine then after 30 min. or couple of hours one of the lift rods will slip out of place and I take off comes the valve cover, put the rod back in place, attempt to gauge the space, tighten everything, crank.......
Now let me see if I can send several pictures with one click. If not I'll send them single shot.
I just tried and no go for me so here they come one at a time
