Hi All,
I have owned an Satoh S650G for a couple years now, and recently a new problem has showed up. It runs OK but at time, especially when the load get lighter (i.e. going down a small hill) the RPMs start to soar, and get up to 3000+. Throtteling all the way down doesn't always help and to get it to stop I sometimes have to kill the engine. I recently worked on the carb and replaced a worn out accelerator plunger. Other than that I think it all looked OK.
So I suspect it my be some kind of carb adjustment I need to make or possibly something with the governor. Please let me know if you can help.
