I found this old John Deere R92 in my local junk yard. I started to video it and decided I just wanted to get it done. I just did a basic carb cleaning, filled the tires with slime and put in new valve cores. Changed the oil. Cleaned the air filter (I'm going to be putting on a UNI filter here before too long) cleaned up the threads on the head of the motor for the spark plug and put in a new plug. Ran new fuel lines and fuel filter, greased and lubed everything, lubed the chains and dropped the mower deck to lube all the pulleys and install a new belt. I got it all back together after and mowed the lawn with it. Works great. I am going to use it this summer to keep the weeds down on the property I manage and then I plan to take it into my shop and this winter and take it all apart, clean it all up, paint it, and put it all back together for hopefully many years to come! This video is just a little introduction to it, Admittedly, its probably one of the worst videos I have ever made, the sound was messed up when I went to edit it and I was really shaky with the camer and I didn't show anything I did to it. Future videos will be better, I usually can make a half decent production . If you guys are interested in the future "restoration" please consider subscribing to my channel.
