Saw the second snake of the year today.

About a 3 foot long rattler in the field that I was broadcast seeding and cultipacking. It did not survive the encounter......

No joke. Snakes really stress me out.
If its not a rattle snake I manage(barely) to let them go on about their business.

I saw a nice garter snake, about 2 feet long, in our flower beds, the other day. I wonder if he's big enough to control the chipmunk population?
