I've sold my 1986 F250 Kioti Hauler. Not totally happy about it, but just don't want to be driving to lake, towing boat, with the mini-boss in such an old vehicle, no AC does not help and no room for the boss is another negative.

Will be sad to see it go mostly because it is a the one and only "Kioti Hauler".

ohh well.

Too bad. One of us will have to get another though to keep the tradition going!

Joeld, you are a better man than I - I couldn't have done it. From the looks of it, that truck had plenty of useful life left.

When I got my '03 Ram 2500 CTD, I still kept my '95 F350 quad cab. I found plenty of use for it and it was the "teenager" vehicle when my oldest two boys started driving.

Earlier this year I gave it to my sister and her husband because they needed a vehicle - I'm still in mourning. The DW was happy to see it go - but my 14 yo daughter gave me heck 'cause she wanted it when she hit driving age.

I have the, probably irrational, habit of just hanging onto vehicles till they die and are no longer worth reviving - then I donate 'em. Maybe a little bit of "hoarder" in me - but so be it.

You need to update us about the replacement! With pictures of course....

The gentleman drove 500 miles each way to pick her up. He and his dad showed up at 7:30am and were on their way by 11:00 or so. We loaded her onto his trailer with the plow mounted, but she was tongue light, so we unloaded, pulled the plow, loaded into bed and then re-loaded onto the trailer. He was hauling with a nice 2007 Ford F350 diesel dually.

Was sad to see her go, I'll miss having a plow truck. But getting the boat back and forth to the lake with family was more important.

I got a 1999 Dodge Durango, with the three rows of seats. Not the strongest truck in the world, but the 318 pulls the boat no problem and it is nice to have AC and seating for everyone, including mini-bosses friends.

Now I'll either mount a plow on the Kioti or finally fix my little wheel horse which has a front mount blower.

KiotiHauler now living in Maryland.

Hey Buddy!

I offer my condolences for the ole KH, and my best wishes for the pre-Gummit Durango. Sometimes practical value has to overule sentimental value. At least you're not a hoarder......

Deputy, great to hear from you.

Yup, all good things come to an end.

How is your excavator treating you, I'm still jealous.

I'm afraid your "pre-gummit" is likely to be correct. Hoping for the best, the price was right and the boss likes it at least.

Yeah, the excavator gets a bit done here and there....

And the International S1824 4x4 5-ton dump is a nice partner to it.
